16 player cup with prize tomorrow!
Well, when you expect it the least: an other Warcraft III cup! Even with a prize this time! Short notice, but great fun! Read further for more information!


The Party Cup

Battle.net is getting old quickly, but Warcraft III is still seen at LAN events today the day. This cup is cooperation with one of these big events; The Party 8

The cup!
The cup will already be held tomorrow, on Friday the 26th of March and start at 19.30! What are we exactly going to do?

- Maximum of 16 players, everyone that lifes in the Benelux is allowed to participate. No premium account required, penalty points are taken out of account.
- Best of 3 matches, every round, in a single elimination!
- We start tomorrow at 19.30. If you win your match you proceed to the next round. The finals will start at 22.00 o'clock!
- Seedings will be done on known esl results in the past!

The rules!
The rules are not uncommon, you can click here to get the overview, but the most important ones can be seen here:

- The meeting place is on Battle.net, northrend in channel esl.blx, but you are allowed to play on Garena. But be sure to contact each other on Battle.net. Be sure your game account is correct!

- The maps that are used are:
.Echo Island
.Ancient Island 2
.Terenas Stand
.Turtle Rock
.Twistead Meadow

- The best seeded player vetoes the first map. The lesser seeded player vetoes the first map. The lesser seeded player can pick the first map to play. After the first map, the loser of the map is allowed to pick the next map.

The prize
The player who reaches, and wins, the finals, receives free entrance to the LAN event The Party 8. Which is next weekend at level 1 blink desistance of the central train station of Eindhoven. Visit their website for more information!

The Party also offers a competition for the Dutch players; allowing them to qualify for the NK gaming, an event held in the Netherlands to decide who is the best Warcraft III TFT gamer. It does however not mean you can not play Warcraft III at the LAN event.

The NK last year was won by Kevin RotterdaM van der Kooi who won a ticket to South Korea. The 2nd place was claimed by an not unfamiliar name as well: Lennart SushiLicious Roest!
