Blizzard patches against hacks
Those of you who still regular play on the BNet ladder, mainly in Arranged Team or Random Team games will have noticed an increase in hackers. Today Blizzard released a patch to fight the hackers.

Blizzard - Warcraft III

Blizzard released patch 1.24d just moments ago, pretty much including only 1 'small' change.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patch 1.24d
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

FIXES

- Fixed a client crash related to queuing too many invalid build commands
("crash hack").

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The hacked that was used by players tended to rapidly send commands out causing the game to be overload, which result in an instant task end of the war.exe process. Or more simply said, for anyone that did not have the hack activated, warcraft III would be closed and the game would result in a loss.

With the patch Blizzard fixed the option for the hackers to overload a game, making the hack useless.

awsome company
They have fixed the "Crash-hack" problem but the thing is that all those people will now just use the maphack that comes with it... As far as I know they have not fixed that yet :/
Yeah I was wondering the same. Thing is, you CAN beat maphackers. Even though its much more difficult. But most hackers are THAT bad you can just out micro them ;S
Haha true Kiezel, most hackers are bad micro'ers, :P
Zozo .. 2 dagen na patch nieuwe hack
Hoelang zal het deze x duren voordat Blizzard iets doet ?!
