National Captains wanted for War Rock Country Championship!
Recently the european War Rock section at ESL announced the Country Championship 2012. Belgium and the Netherlands will be participating! That is the reason we're on the look-out for motivated national captains for both The Netherlands and the Belgian national team. Are you going to lead your team to victory?

Country Championship

The ESL has a long history of nations tournaments stretching back to at least 2004 when the first European Nations Championship (ENC) was held. Since at least 2009, for games not part of the ENC, instead ESL Country Championships (CC) have also been held where countries from across Europe can compete for honour and prestige.

Since it's release last years, war Rock has been one of most widely played and popular eSports titles in history, and we are happy to announce what we hope will be the first of many Country Championships.

Become captain of your national team!

As team captain of the national team you will be responsible forming a team of national top players as well as selecting the lineup for the matches. You're expected to be mature, have good knowledge of english and know how to deal with responsibility. Team captains who's team performs well during the country championship will be rewarded.

We're now opening applications for those who are interested in becoming captain of their national team. To apply you're required to send in an application including your previous experiences, some personal information, your motivation and possibly some refferences from other players to back you up, as well as a potential lineup you have in mind. You will have to send in your application to the national manager for your country. For The Netherlands you contact Sum at sumera@staff.esl.eu and for Belgium you contact FwRtje at fwr@staff.esl.eu. The application process will close at Tuesday 14/02/2012 at 23.59.

Best Regards, your Staff Benelux

If he wants to lead the team again this year, he can also e-mail me.
How about LoL? Saw that the belgium & netherlands don't have any teams yet, but there are plenty of other countries that do (spain, france, poland, italy, ...)

He will be our leader this year, we don't want noobs in our Netherlands.wr
Its not only about good knowledge of english and the game, we decide who's the best of the Netherlands.wr players and we let them play, easy?

It would be weird if a newb became an leader..
I'll be the leader of the team this year, so I don't think what you admins think. But I'm in these team now for like 1000+ days. I'm not e-mailing anyone to be the "Captain" of this team. People all agree that I'm the leader, if I stop playing WarRock, I'll give the leadership to someone that I think is a good leader for the National team.

I'm searching the players, I'm selecting the players. I'm searching the right player, to discuss with me about the team (Team-Manager) and so it's done for the last 2 years, and once I was Co-Leader with Thascrim, that went very well. We came 2nd, last year was bad luck for us and we lost a protest while we already won that match. This year is gonna be a great year aswell, don't try to take our team away, it's given to me (now) but you don't have any permissions as admin to take anyone's rights away.

I've said enough, if anyone's taking the rights from this team away. Something will happen, and you'll see the consequences.
Hello Niels,

First off I'd like to explain you how things go around here: When a country championship is hosted. The head admin is responsible for the formation of the national teams (in some cases, the national sections ask the EU admins to do this for them). The head admin, who is the license holder of the national teams (much like KNVB in The Netherlands) can chose for themselves how they want to select the team captain, let this be by either asking someone, having an application round or other possible methods. In short; this is not a matter of how Benelux Warrock admins want it, this is a matter how we, as license holder, want to do business. The team does not belong to you, but it belongs to the ESL Benelux and you may use it to represent your country in Country Championships.

In general the chances that the current captain will proceed to be captain (if he indeeds let us know that he wants to continue his job) are close to a 100%. Basically the most simple and smartest thing for you to have done is sent me an e-mail and it'd be solved. In contrary to this you chose to act hostile and immature in response to our general procedures and started throwing around threats while no sort of decision or discussion or whatsoever has taken place.

In closing if you want to proceed your current job and the community supports you, we are willing to forget about the immature response prior to this point and I suggest you get in contact with me trough e-mail or xfire so that we can settle things and get the team registered for the Country Championship.
