VERSUS Bans were given out
| |||
![]() This week we had been pretty busy to get a lot of flamers, fakers or players who closed or didn't even start Wire Anti-Cheat for their matches banned. Of course we will give you a detailed insight on what we did and especially why those guys got banned. Just have a look!
After one month only ...The current season has been running for 25 days so far. But we punished almost 1,500 players with the measures of VERSUS banns and stats resets in the individual games they broke the rules.Players with no (valid) ESL Anti-Cheat1,261 players got banned starting Wednesday, as they did not use ESL Wire Anti-Cheat or aborted it. They also got their stats reset.Most of those players were active in our top games: Players, who were reported again and againA total of 31 players got their temporary ban from the VERSUS System due to being reported again and again by you. We would like to make this clear: If anybody is not playing by the rules, just use the reporting functionality on VERSUS.About those guys and their fake matchesOf course, people who boost their stats by "playing" fake matches, deserve a ban as well. 153 players got their "trophy" for massive faking in several games.A lesson learned?"Playing" fakematches, aborting or not even starting ESL Wire Anti-Cheat as well as not bringing in some respect for both your team as well as your opponents is not okay and will be punished.Something positive for the rest of youSince the season had started you all did a good job and played a total of 151,519 matches, excluding deleted matches as well as those fakematches. There's nothing more to say: Respect!So far, have a nice weekend and enjoy your VERSUS matches! Your
