Benelux Competition Premiership II
Last year, the Benelux organised the Competition Premiership for Benelux teams only. We have decided to continue this tradition and give the teams the opportunity to be crowned 'the best team in the Benelux' !

It's that time of the year again! This month the second edition of the Benelux Competition Premiership will kick off. In order for you to be prepared we are launching the announcement today. We have updated the rules a bit from last year to make sure the competition is fair and fun for everyone!

Team restrictions

First of all, if you want to join this league with your team, you should create a subteam to your mainteam. Your Trackmania-mainteam should not be in any league. Only the subteams should participate in leagues.

In this case you have to create a subteam ".BLXCPS" to your TMNF-mainteam. If you have any questions on how to do this, post your question in the comments or contact us at #esl.tm.blx.
An example is Mouse Control 1, they are listed as a Subteam to Mouse Control.

Your subteam has to meet the following restrictions as well:

A maximum of 12 players
At least 66% of the players have to be residents of the Benelux ( Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)

These restrictions include all positions within a team. Driver and Trials as well as Team-Manager, Orga, inactive and honorary. You need to have your final line-up fixed on Sunday January 23rd.

Furthermore, during the match we will have one more restriction:

2 out of 3 players of the line-up on every track have to be from the Benelux (the match is played in a 3on3 format)

As there are a lot of Benelux players in foreign teams, and Benelux teams who might not have enough players, we will allow certain stand-ins for the tournament.
- If you are not from the Benelux, you can only play for your own team, and only if the team manages to meet the restrictions.
- If you are from the Benelux, you can only play for another team if your current mainteam isn't participating.

In other words, stand-ins are only allowed if they are from the Benelux and their current mainteam is not participating.
A team can't have more stand-ins than regular players (this also means that mixteams are not allowed.)

Important details

It might be worth repeating that the match will be played in 3on3 format, as you could see in the restrictions.
Every match will be driven on 3 tracks, but these won't always be 3 new ones. We will use a system which is similar to the one in the Europe Competition Premiership, where special maps are released during the season.

Some important dates
Sunday January 9th: Signup opened
Sunday January 23rd: Signup closed, lineup fixed, first map release!
Sunday January 30th: First groupmatch
Sunday February 27th: Scheduled seasons end

Please note that these rules could slightly be changed before the premiership starts. Especially the seasons end depends on the amount of signups. We will keep you updated!

Any other questions can be asked in the comments or in #esl.tm.blx!
