How to win

The concept is very simple. During the month of June we will host 6 cups. Your final ranking in these cups will determine the amount of points you earn. The 8 players that have the most points at the end of this cup-series will qualify for the Final cup. The top 3 of the final cup will earn themselves some nice prizes. The point distribution will be as followed;

0 - 8 teams/players:
1st: 4 points
2nd: 3 points
3rd: 2 points
4th: 1 point

9 - 16 teams/players:
1st: 5 points
2nd: 4 points
3rd: 3 points
4th: 2 points
5th - 8th: 1 point

17 - 32 teams/players:
1st: 6 points
2nd: 5 points
3rd: 4 points
4th: 3 points
5th - 8th: 2 points
9th - 16th: 1 point

Prize distribution

The prizes have been announced on the general announcement. On top of that, we will offer you the chance to win some nice copper prizes! We can now give you the prize distribution for the Trackmania cup-series.

1st: CM Storm Sentinel Zero-G + 3 months premium account + 10.000 coppers
2nd: CM Storm Consolation prize + 2 months premium account + 6.000 coppers
3rd: 1 month premium + 4.000 coppers
4th: 3.000 coppers
5th/6th: 1.000 coppers
7th/8th: 500 coppers

The schedule

As we will host 6 cups before holding the Final cup, we will host two cups per week. Each week, one cup will take place on Sunday, the other one on a weekday. Look below for the complete schedule.

The mappack

We have decided to go for a mappack of some short classic technical maps; everyone should know them, you don't need a lot of time to learn or remember them, and of course, they are a lot of fun. And the maps are:
Green Mini #1 by Thunderbird
The Green Mile by Phyter
The Green Techroad by Guess Who
maybe GREEN by FaHoFF
These maps will be used in the first three cups at least. It is not yet decided if the maps will be used in the later cups as well. If you want to have a vote in the matter, leave a comment!

The cup setup

Finally, it may be interesting to know how the cups will be played.
In the beginning of the cups, players start their matches in a 1on1 format, just as in any Trackmania ladder, which means up to 7 points. Both players will choose 1 track from the mappack and the winner (counted in points) continues to the next round. When a player reaches the semi-finals (the last 4 players in the cup), they will immediately play the final of the cup in a 1v1v1v1 format up to 100 points in cup-mode on all 4 maps.
