Quake Live: burnedd takes it!
The first EPS QL Final has come to an end. Three Dutch players and one Belgian player had the same goal, ending first in the EPS S4 QL! Everything started with a small issue, supreme decided at the last second not to show up at the LAN Finals. Because of this we had to find a player who lived near WZZRD and even though QINOX is in exams, he decided to come, thanks for this QINOX!

 Sc00T (#3)[2:3] draven (#2)

Our first match was between two top Dutch players. Both players know each other very well from ENC and faced each other a few times in EAS as well. Starting on ztn draven took the upper hand and won confident with 11-2. On dm13 and t7 it was the other way around. Sc00T had no mercy with draven on t7 and won it 11-0. dm13 on the other side could have gone either to draven. It was a close match which ended in favour of Sc00T with a score of 4 to 3. If Sc00T won the next match, which was dm6, victory would be his, but things went different. draven won 12-1 on dm6, so a fifth map had to be played. t9 ended in a close victory for draven (13-10).

 burnedd (#1)[3:0] QINOX (#4)

In our second semi-final the top favourite burnedd faced substitute QINOX. On t9 and dm6 the score ended in favour of burnedd (27-1). On dm13 QINOX was warmed up and could play his best match of lan against burnedd. This time only dying 26 times and killing burnedd twice! :-)

 Sc00T (#3)[3:0] QINOX (#4)

Our 3rd place match was also decided in three maps. The first map was dm13 and Sc00T could make the difference very fast which gave him a 23-4 victory. On dm6 QINOX started well, but couldn't keep it up and also this match ended in a 23-7 victory for Sc00T. The third map was t9 and ended in favour of Sc00T with a score of 27-2.

 burnedd (#1)[3:0] draven (#2)

The Grand Final was between the Belgian youngster and the Dutch king draven. It started on t9, a confident and relaxed burnedd could win it 21-6. ztn went also to burnedd (20-6). After those two maps, burnedd was leading 2-0, so draven had to win the next map which was dm13. He started very well on it and could take the upper hand. However, he could not manage to keep it and burnedd came back in the game. The map ended in favour of burnedd with a score of 10-5.
