The winner of SteelSeries KOTH is..
We had to count almost 500 comments.. 500 votes for what game might be the next King of the Hill powered by SteelSeries.

Everybody that voted was also participating in a steelseries contest in order to win some nice gear.

The comments

Some votes have been removed. Some users commented twice on the newspost. Only one of them got counted (the first). Some non-Benelux users commented. These got removed as well.

The result is not final! These results will be send to SteelSeries and THEY will pick the next game. The voting was used as indication.

The results

And the winner is:

1. Counter-Strike: Source having ~159 votes
2. Counter-Strike 1.6 having ~146 votes
3. Call of Duty 4 having ~87 votes

The rest of the comments was QuakeLive/Warrock/Trackmania/CSPromod.

This means that Counter-Strike: Source won the poll, really close! We will keep you informed when SteelSeries made their decision.

Will they continue to support CS 1.6? Will they try out a SOURCE, or maybe Call of Duty 4 had enough votes to prove itself. To be continued.

The winner

The winner of the steelseries gear is:

fub

Congratulations, you will be able to pick between:
SteelSeries XAI laser mouse (or)
SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset

!!!!! : )
Nice
Up to Steelseries to select Call of Duty 4 now! :)
great!
It would be mean if they choose another game then css ;)
because if we build up a new css community it could be a nice game!
<3 css
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fub :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD
:)
would be stupid to support cs:source, i think it's pretty clear cs:1.6 is the most popular game (for example ESL extreme masters, all the spectators, etc...)

not saying 1.6 is better than Source, but it is more popular.
con gratz
TBH, I don't agree the way the game has been decided. Obviously it would have been a 5on5 game.
pretty obvious that steelseries would/will support a game reaching a bigger audience?

a 16 slots cup of 5man teams instead of 16 individual players. What would you pick to advertise your brand? :)
It's the same story all the time, the masses play the lower quality games :'(.

Cant beat junkfood.
Only difference is that CSS doesn't attract any new players. The scene has the been the same for ages while games like Quake for example still attract new audience.
CSS also attract new audience , always new players joining the scene or new teams who are going to play this game ;)
