Are you curious about his initial reaction and his thoughts about the upcoming Country Championship? Read the interview:

Hello, First Off, congratulations on being nominated captain of the Belgium Country Championship team for MW3. How do you feel about being captain?
I feel very good about it, and I am pretty confident we can bring this team to the last stages of the brackets, if not win the whole competition. It is always an honour to represent your country in a tourney and being the captain makes it all a bit more special.

What kind of new responsibilities does this bring?
Of course you have to be here all the time, which shouldn't really be a problem for me. I am very motivated to do this and bring this team to the top. Also I am the one who needs to call the tactics which brings a sort of pressure with it of course, but I am confident I can handle it.

Are you pleased with their decision to pick you for team captain?
Yes, I certainly am. As I said before it brings a couple of responsibilities with it, but I am confident about this team and very motivated to do this.

Any idea on the strength of the players on your roster so far?
I know most of the players from playing against them in scrims and they are all very motivated and very good players, piece by piece. That’s also the reason why I think we are going to get pretty far in this tournament.

Do you have any plans as you’re the captain? Any practise schedule, etc?
Obviously we are going to train a lot, to make the best out of it. We don’t have a schedule just yet, but me and death x are working on one so we can have a couple of days in the week where we can prefer and explain the tactics for the upcoming match. Also I am going to try to study our opponents tactics from demo's that they have to upload, so we can have an idea about how they play.

Sounds pretty good. Do you have any particular way of picking your team?
Not really, we are going to have a couple of practise wars set up against other nations or the better teams from MW3 so we have an idea which player is best on that certain position. From there on we are going to try to find the best possible team. Also an intern scrim between the Belgian players might be a good idea as well. You can work on teamwork and as a captain I can decide the best players from those wars as well.

What do you expect from your players? What kind of attitude?
Obviously a positive attitude. So that includes no raging at each other when a mistake has been made, cause that only causes more rage and people cant really concentrate anymore on the game, which will lead into bad results. The players need to be friendly and motivated, but more important they need to enjoy their time at Team Belgium and maybe become good friends, who can meet up in the future.
