General participation rules

• Do not break the rules and agreements.
• To participate the following info is required: Your first- and surname, age and country of residence. (If these do not get fulfilled, you will not be able to join the qualifier).
• Please update your ESL profile with a way to contact you or your team. (IRC, MSN, Skype, Steam)
• Do not have more then 12 Penaltypoints or have a currently active ban.
• 60% of your team has to be living in the country of residence of the cup you're participating in.

Check-in System

This qualifier uses a check-in system, to filter away inactive teams. If not enough teams confirm their participation with the check-in, latejoins (see step 3) will be accepted.




Phase 1 - Reservation (Green)
Just like you're used to. Sign up if you're interested in playing.

Phase 2 - Confirmation (Yellow)
This takes place 30 minutes before the cup starts. Everybody with a reserved slot from Phase 1 is now able to confirm participation in the cup. Beware: you only have 10 minutes to do this.

Phase 3 - Signup (Red)
Didn't get a slot in Phase 1? Now all the non-confirmed slots from Phase 2 are ready to be taken by the first ones who sign in. You can request latejoins on IRC.

Please join #esl.blx on IRC to find your opponents easily. Otherwise post server details in the match comments.

Regulations

• The date of this cup is: the 24th of September - 19:00 CEST
• 32 teams is the maximum of teams that will be allowed to play.
• Before opening a match protest, please contact the admins on IRC first!
• Every match will be played on Summoner's Rift.
• Uploading matchmedia is necessary.
• The last game and the 3rd place match will be played as a Best out of 3.

Cup specific rules

• Every game, exluding the finals and 3rd place match, will be played as Best of 1
• The game mode is Tournament Draft
• Screenshot showing your picks, bans and scorescreen are necessary, you will be punished for not adding them.
• Every game must be started within 10 minutes of both teams being available (both having finished their previous game). Else the team that was late, or did not show up will get disqualified.
• Every team has a total of 5 minutes of pause, incase necessary.(Disconnects, bugsplats etc...).
