Today the development of the new "ESL Wire Anti-Cheat" is advancing to the next level. Until now only sixty of our admins have been allowed to test our precious software. Today 100 users will get the opportunity to install the latest release and test it. These users had to provide us wit a signed NDA and a copy of their identity card. This was necessary as a measure of precaution against those who mean ill.

This weekend two thrilling matches from the ASUS ENC 2010 will be played live in Antwerp, Belgium. In Counter-Strike:Source and Counter-Strike 1.6 the home-team from Belgium will face Netherlands. After many months of development, we can today officially announce that Aequitas 2 is coming. <b>We will not make the precise release date public</b>, in order to preserve the element of surprise. The aim of this news is simply to announce that Aequitas 2 will definitely come in the next 2-8 weeks.

As an initiative for communities to further support their game, we are launching a competition for the games that are already selected for or could be suitable to add to the EMS.

Another small but useful feature for making playing on the Electronic Sports League even easier. A "start match" button has been added to the Matchchat window making it possible for you to launch ESL Wire to start your match directly from the website. This feature of course requires you to have ESL Wire installed.

The new matchchat and its userbar have been officially online for several days. We tried to separate your feedback into flames and usable criticism, and have already released the first changes yesterday and today. All further changes will be announced as an update to this news.

Many of you have already been using it and appreciate our newest feature: Matchchat. From today it leaves beta and becomes a regular feature! This also includes the new menu bars and all the new technology below the surface which will provide us in the future with many more useful real time features to make gaming on the ESL platform more fun and accessible.

Yet again a new Version of ESL Wire is ready for Download. It holds a new and very neat feature: The ingame overlay User Interface (UI). At this version, it's use is limited and quite rough, but for the future we can add a lot very useful and nice stuff with this new possibilities. The goal is to interact with the ESL, without leaving the game.

ESL was offline yesterday between about 5:30pm and 2:30am. The site has come back online since then but there is some data missing. We know about it and we are right now busy recovering all data. <b>PLEASE do not yet write any Support Tickets, eMails or posts to ask about your missing accounts, ladders...</b>!
