Intel Extreme Masters Kiev Qualification:

At the beginning of the week, we started with two qualifications for the Intel Extreme Masters in Kiev. There were two qualifications for The Netherlands and two for Belgium. Antwerp Aces, Team-Sypher, GameLine and Friends with Benefits were the teams that qualified theirself for the Belgian finals. Oldskool Gamers, Pokemon With Potential, No can do and CEA qualified for the Dutch finals.

At the end of the story Antwerp Aces won the final over Team-Sypher with 2-0, and conquers a spot for the first international qualification. In The Netherlands, Oldskool Gamers managed to win their match with 2-1 against Pokemon With Potential. Oldskool Gamers also won a spot in the first qualification round.

The final results of the Dutch final was:

Final Intel Pack4Dreamhack cup:

To get four teams in the Intel Pack4Dreamhack finals, four qualifications held in the Benelux. Two Belgian and two Dutch teams managed to win a cup. Antwerp Aces en Team-Sypher for Belgium and Pokemon With Potential and GUERILLAS for The Netherlands.

In the semi-finals, GUERILLAS managed to win against the Belgian Team-Sypher with two maps against one. In the other semi-final Antwerp Aces took Pokemon With Potential down with 2-0.

In the final, we saw GUERILLAS playing to Antwerp Aces. While GUERILLAS was playing with two top Norwegian players, they were not able to beat Antwerp Aces. The three Belgian and two Dutch players of Antwerp Aces won the final with two maps against nothing. On de_nuke they won 16-11 and on de_inferno they won 16-10. This means that Antwerp Aces will represent the Benelux at Dreamhack Winter, later this month.
